How much do you charge and what payment do you accept?
Fees can be found under the Services tab. I accept e-transfer and credit card as forms of payment which are due at the end of your session.
I unfortunately am not offering sliding scale prices at this time.
Are your services covered under my health insurance provider?
Yes! However, it depends on your specific provider and package. It is best to check with your provider prior to starting therapy and inquiring about whether or not Psychotherapy services are covered.
What if I need to cancel or miss a session?
At Nature & Nurture Psychotherapy I understand that emergencies happen and that life can get in the way sometimes. There is a 48-hour cancellation policy, and I kindly ask you to email or contact me 48-hours prior to your session to let me know, otherwise you will be charged the full session fee. If an emergency, illness, or personal reason arises within the 48-hours please contact me to discuss the fee and make alternative scheduling.
What do I do in an emergency?
If you require urgent assistance or are in crisis, please contact 911 or go to your local emergency department. Your safety is of the utmost importance. If you need someone to talk to in between session you can also contact Here 24/7 Crisis Support Line at 1-844-437-3247 or Talk Suicide Canada at 1-833-456-4566 (or text them at 45645)
