whether you are looking for a space to feel heard, to work through life’s challenges, or wanting to build your relationship with yourself - our therapy services can adapt to your needs
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is the traditional form of talk therapy used to help individuals with various mental and emotional health challenges. It can be beneficial in helping individuals to understand the root of psychological difficulties, in enhancing emotional well-being, and in creating a space to heal and process life experiences.
When working with you, I use a variety of approaches within psychotherapy that are tailored to your needs and goals. I practice from a client-centred approach, integrating Psychodynamic, Narrative, Solution-Focused, Play, and Trauma-Informed Therapy into my work.
Art Therapy
Art Therapy is a combination of psychotherapy and creative processing that uses art as a way to help individuals explore and express their thoughts, feelings, and emotions within a therapeutic context. This form of expressive therapy is particularly useful when words are difficult to find, difficult to say, or simply limit how we are truly feeling. However, this does not mean we just sit and make art. Art therapists are trained in, and use a combination of, traditional talk psychotherapy along with the non-verbal process of creative art-making to further explore client’s thoughts and feelings.
Art therapy is for all ages and does not require any artistic abilities. It simply allows us to create in a less direct way that can, at times, be more accessible for clients and aid in the healing journey.
